As a designer, manufacturer and integrator of robotic solutions, AXIOME is a key player in the aeronautics, automotive and mechanical engineering sectors. The company automates industrial production lines based on its specially designed cutting, deburring, surface treatment and non-destructive testing solutions. As a constant innovator, AXIOME brings us two of its latest news stories:
Thanks to its experience, know-how and technical skills, AXIOME has designed and built a robotic cell combining cutting, clip installation and vision control functionality. The cell has:
All components are installed in a safe, soundproofed and easily transportable single unit.
This high-tech machine is connected to the factory's traceability system, meeting the growing need for flexibility and productivity and the challenges of the future Industry 4.0.
In consultation with its customers, and thanks to the commitment of its workforce, AXIOME has developed a number of robotic cells at the cutting edge of technology. These machines carry out tests and pre-series runs in real conditions to validate the processes offered by AXIOME with a view to future industrial production. This technical center consists of three cells: a mechanical deburring and milling cell, a fluid jet deburring cell and a pure or abrasive water jet cutting cell. The automated equipment carries out tests or pre-series runs to assess the 3D cutting of components made of a wide range of materials (including composites, stainless steel and titanium).
All of these machines are used in conjunction with robotic simulation tools to validate the quality achieved, the process speeds, the tools, the accessibility of the areas to be treated and the cycle times for future series machines.
